Darcy-Weissbach Formula---Gravity Acceleration Online Calculator

App Description

\(g=\frac {F×L×V^2}{2×D×H _L}\)

  • g = gravity acceleration
  • F = friction coefficient
  • V = flow rate
  • L = pipe length
  • D = pipe diameter
  • HL= head loss

Usage example

Input data:

Friction factor - -15; head loss - 474 ft; pipe length - 45 ft; pipe diameter - -20 ft; flow rate - -15 ft / sec

Click "Calculate" to display the results.

Output results:

Gravity acceleration is 8.01 ft / sec 2

Note

The head loss, pipe length, pipe diameter and flow rate units can be selected by clicking the checkbox arrow at the back and selecting the appropriate unit.
