Pressure online calculator

Pressure is the ratio of the force distributed over a particular active surface to that area. In other words, the pressure is the amount of force per unit area acting in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the object. It is also a physical quantity indicating the effect of pressure action (deformation effect). In the International System of Units, the unit of pressure is Pascal, referred to as Pa (named after the commemoration of the French scientist Pascal), and the unit is Newton/square meter. Common units of pressure are kilopascals, kilograms per square centimeter, and support. It is usually indicated by the English letter 「Pa」.

The formula is \(p=F/A\)

In the formula:

p is the pressure; F is the pressure (vertical force); A is the force area
